ADHD Assessments

Have you spent years “pushing through” while others seem to move throughout the world with more ease? Or, suddenly questioning if lifelong patterns and distractions are tied to something more specific; perhaps unrecognized attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD)? I have worked with many adults unknowingly living with ADHD, carrying years of internalized judgments of; “laziness”, “poor time management”, “lack of effort.” Imagine if someone could have truly seen your experiences.

Unrecognized ADHD in adults can present as:

  • Chronic procrastination

  • Burnout

  • Rejection sensitivity

  • Disorganization

  • Task incompletion

Seeking an ADHD assessment is not about labeling, more so, to finally gain a sense of a clarity and autonomy of your experiences. Imagine navigating life without a map and suddenly feeling confident in knowing where you’re going.

It is this feeling I seek to give my clients by offering neuro-affirming ADHD assessments and ongoing care. My approach is rooted in understanding ADHD as a form of neurodivergence - not a personal failure, lack of discipline, or deficit of effort. Together, we’ll gain understanding on how your brain works, rather than measuring it against standardized testing.

It is for this reason; I practice outside of insurance-based systems. While insurance can be a helpful asset, it often requires limited timelines, rigid diagnostic frameworks, and predetermined treatment plans. These constraints can unintentionally pathologize neurodivergent traits and prioritize systems over a nuanced understanding of your experiences.

Deciding to seek an ADHD assessment commonly brings up questioning of self:

  • What will this mean?

  • How did I miss this?

  • What will I tell people?

In our work together, we’ll discuss this transition. All clients are given three 60 - 90-minute assessment sessions using a comprehensive, integrative approach. Assessments may include Brown EF/A, CNS Vital Signs, DIVA, ASRS-v1.1, PHQ-9, and the GAD-7. This process allows space to explore your background, both past and present symptoms that may be impacting your life daily. After all assessments are completed, we will meet again in 2-4 weeks (depending on availability) to review results, discuss findings, report and explore any potential diagnosis. Regardless of diagnosis, you will receive individualized practical recommendations to support symptom management and overall well-being. Restore your sense of autonomy and choice.

4-hours I $900

(3 installments of $300 due at the time of each session)

Important Note: If you are seeking evaluation for work or school accommodations, disability benefits or similarly, you may need to seek a neuropsychological evaluation that is out of my scope of expertise. I will determine in the consult call if my services fit your evaluation needs and offer you appropriate recommendations.
